VINYL WRAPS

Pre-Installation

  • Vehicles must be delivered in a clean condition, you will be advised on cleaning condition upon booking. (please be aware this could delay fitting time and may possibly cost)

  • If you have waxed your car repeatedly, it must be de-waxed before we “Wrap Your Ride”. (At additional cost)

  • If you have a wrap on your car, it must be de-wrapped. (At additional cost)

  • Please declare if you have re-sprayed your vehicle. There is a risk that lifting of paint or clear coating will happen during installation as we require to stretch and lay multiple times. We will take extra care during installation on re-sprayed panels but that does not guarantee that lifting will not occur.

  • You may see some imperfections on certain hard line contour areas.

  • Even though we always try to have zero overlapping panels, we can’t always guarantee that.

  • All deposits are non refundable, as the deposit confirms booking allocation, shop space and material outlay. However Wrap Atelier will make every effort to re-book any authorised cancellations, to still meet the clients requirements.

  • We will inspect the vehicle for troubled paint or rust areas and note that there is not a guarantee that the film will hold up on those spots. Should you require to putty, it will be additional cost.

  • Matte surface, like trims, panels or after-market body kits do not adhere to wraps as strongly as gloss surface. Additional cost and time may be required if a clear coat spray is needed.

  • If your vehicle was in an accident prior to your wrap work, we shall not be held liable should there be any issues or damages with electric parts / components / car parts.

  • All prices quoted to you does not include de-wrap, putty or panel beating.

  • Actual price may vary from quoted price if your vehicle did not come in for a physical assessment. Consultation is free so do drop by to have our installers assess your vehicle for a more accurate quote.

  • Wraps typically lasts for a year, 2-3 years with proper care and maintenance. (Please consult us if you would like to know more on how to care for your wraps!)

  • Plan on leaving your “cleaned” vehicle with us for a minimum of 4-5 days. There could be instances that we require longer days due to complexity, and shall not be penalised for requiring longer hours to work on your vehicle.

  • We do not do rushed jobs as it will affect workmanship.

During Installation/Removal

  • There is a risk that lifting of paint or clear coating will happen during installation as we require to stretch and lay multiple times. We will take extra care during installation on re-sprayed panels but that does not guarantee that lifting will not occur.

  • There is always a risk that lifting of paint or clear coating will happen during removal. A higher risk of lifting if your vehicle has been resprayed. Rest assure that we will do our best to ensure that we will take utmost care when removing your wrap, however we do not guarantee your vehicle's paint during removal.

Post Installation

  • We recommend hand washing all wrapped vehicles. Absolutely no pressure washing. Wrap Atelier reserves the right to charge any repair or replacement work should there be any slightest doubt from our installer's professional judgement should the affected area has been pressure washed.

  • Never attempt to take off the wrap yourself, always let the professionals here handle that for you.

  • On certain inverted areas and body contours, you may see some lifting of the vinyl. We will touch up those areas for free for the first 6 months. We use a special primer adhesive on those areas, but can’t guarantee those vinyl “lifts” won’t happen. We can’t replace a panel just for a simple vinyl lift, but we will do our best to work it back into the valley of the inverted contour.

  • Reminder: Vinyl wraps are unlike spray paint works. There are bound to be some imperfections in between gaps, hard contour lines and sometimes micro dust stuck underneath the film. If you're concerned, do talk to us about it to better prepare yourself on what to expect when wrapping your car.
